- Update the records of the available rooms, rates, daily reservations, cancellations, rooms in book, amendments and no shows.
- Assist guests and clients during their accommodation period in any request prior to arrival.
- Manage all the available data on the different channels and monitoring of pick up.
- Controlling rooms inventory including wholesale allocations and overbooking scenarios appropriately.
- Know all the hotel policies, procedures and payment methods.
- Manage the VIP Request and the special request in a professional manner.
- Reconciling reservations daily commissions.
- Loading and maintaining rates in Melia Guest Reservations System.
- Assist the Revenue Team in Revenue report consolidation and as needed.
- Extensive experience using Opera PMS is essential.
- Previous experience in a Reservations/Front Office Supervisory role.
- Comprehensive understanding of hotel systems.
- The ability to manage time efficiently with competing deadlines.
- The ability to liaise professionally in all aspects of the role, including excellent telephone and email etiquette.
- Experience using the Microsoft Office suite.
