Ensure timely laundry pick-ups/deliveries, verify counts/weights, maintain clean vehicle/work area, complete logs, and provide excellent customer service. Follow safety practices and ensure helpers comply at all times.Description of duties • Ensures the delivery and pick up of laundry occurs at the scheduled times. • Provides quality goods and service to customers and continually works to improve service to customers. • Completes accurate counts and weights at delivery and pickup locations. • Maintains a safe and clean work environment and vehicle, and accurately completing required vehicle logs. • Assists in ensuring that all loads are built and the delivered weight and that the count of finished goods is correct for every delivery. • Generates load tickets and/or other necessary paperwork for deliveries and pickups. • Follows safety practices and ensures assigned helpers also follow safety practices at off-site locations. Mandatory Competences • Valid C and C1 Maltese driver's license. • Clean driving record. • Clean Police Conduct. • Experience driving a truck, with the ability to operate a standard transmission. Arrange delivery/collection of envelope/parcel together with customer (sign off, delivery note, reserve...)
Carry out work concerning Customs formalities (checking parcels, making declarations...)
Execute basic maintenance. Clean vehicle
Receive and prepare goods to be delivered (collection, packing...)
Set up route according to delivery requirements. Check documents (timetables, order form...)
