Driver and delivery person for both light and heavy goods.Zamco Industries is looking for a team player to take on the following duties: - Un/loading with the use of palletizer and forklift; - Drive cargo truck to/from customers/shippers; - Deliver and assist in deliveries of heavy and light equipment (equipment provided); - Aid the storekeeper with general stores duties - Prepare goods for delivery - Accept payments and give correct change Requirements include: - Proficiency and literacy in English is mandatory - Proficiency in Maltese will be given preference - Having a clean driving license: B, C1, CE and C. Set up route according to delivery requirements. Check documents (timetables, order form...)
Perform emergency measures in case of accident. Notify services concerned
Execute basic maintenance. Clean vehicle
Deliver or collect parcels according to request
Load parcels, envelopes, prepared dishes on or in the vehicle
Receive payments
Arrange delivery/collection of envelope/parcel together with customer (sign off, delivery note, reserve...)
Make deliveries by: light motor vehicle (less than 3.5 tons)
Receive and prepare goods to be delivered (collection, packing...)
Unload products and distribute them to warehouse location or processing zone
Load/unload goods manually or using non-motorised handling gear in accordance with product type (bulk, large, heavy...)
