Job Purpose & Scope:The Group IT Administrator will ensure the stable, secure, and efficient operation of all IT systems across Paradise Bay Resort. The role supports the organisation’s business-critical platforms, including Microsoft 365, Azure AD/Entra identity services, user devices, networking infrastructure, and operational applications.The position provides day-to-day technical support to users, addressing hardware, software, and connectivity issues while overseeing system configurations, IT asset readiness, and consistent standards across both entities. The administrator will also support the Comtrex POS environment and work closely with external vendors on escalated issues requiring specialised intervention.Beyond daily operational support, the role contributes to business continuity and security through documentation, proactive monitoring, adherence to cybersecurity practices, and participation in on-call duties, ensuring dependable IT service delivery at all times.Key Responsibilities & Duties
  • Manage Microsoft 365 user accounts, mailboxes, permissions, MFA support, and license assignments.
  • Support Azure AD / Entra ID identity administration, including access permissions and security configurations.
  • Provide daily technical support to users on Windows environments, Microsoft 365 applications, and general IT issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain PCs, laptops, printers, and related peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot network issues involving Wi-Fi, switches, routers, DHCP, DNS, and general connectivity problems.
  • Maintain structured cabling, server rooms, IT storage, and accurate hardware inventories.
  • Provide first-line support for Comtrex POS systems, including installation, troubleshooting, connectivity, and coordination with Comtrex support for escalations.
  • Coordinate with external vendors (internet provider, Comtrex, PMS supplier, hardware vendors, CCTV company, print solutions provider) to ensure timely resolutions and service continuity.
  • Offer basic support to PMS and operational systems.
  • Install and maintain software applications and update systems as needed.
  • Assist in maintaining cybersecurity standards, endpoint protection, and GDPR compliance.
  • Support backup routines and contribute to disaster recovery readiness.
  • Coordinate with external IT suppliers and service providers for escalated issues.
  • Provide on-call support outside normal working hours for urgent technical matters, ensuring that operational teams always have a point of contact when system issues arise.
  • Promote safe IT practices internally (phishing awareness, password hygiene, secure use of systems)
  • Configure and troubleshoot work-related mobile devices and Wi-Fi settings for Team Members for and where required.
  • Provide IT support for internal meetings, presentations, and conferences as needed, including display screens, projectors, connectivity, and audio.
  • Prepare and deactivate user accounts, emails, access rights, and devices for new joiners and leavers – and ensuring that all company devices are returned and wiped securely during offboarding.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of network diagrams, configurations, passwords stored securely, IT procedures, and troubleshooting logs.
  • Manage IT inventory levels and notify management when equipment or consumables (toners, network cables, peripherals) need replenishment.
  • Attend to training as requested by the Management including outside scheduled working hours.
  • Any other duties assigned by the direct reporting line in cognizant with the Job Role.
Job SpecificationTechnical Knowledge and Skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Basic to intermediate experience with Azure AD / Entra ID (password resets, access assignments, etc.)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows 10/11 environments.
  • Solid understanding of basic networking (Wi-Fi troubleshooting, switches, IP settings).
  • Experience supporting POS systems, ideally Comtrex.
  • Ability to install, configure, and maintain user hardware and peripherals.
  • Awareness of cybersecurity fundamentals and safe access practices.
Experience and Preferred Qualifications
  • MS-900 (Microsoft 365 Fundamentals) & AZ-900 (Azure Fundamentals)
  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a technical support or IT administration role.
  • Experience in hospitality or multi-location operations is an advantage.
  • Experience with EPOS support (especially Comtrex) is highly beneficial.
