- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, kitchen utensils, and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient dishwashing and cleaning operations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections and audits.
- Assist with menu planning and cost control related to kitchen operations.
- Maintain and repair kitchen equipment and report any malfunctions.
- Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork among staff.
- Proven experience in a stewarding or kitchen management role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in food service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
