Work closely with the Creative Director and lead the Game Designers to bring the game’s vision to real.Duties and Responsibilities: Design game systems from a big picture perspective down to interconnected features and entity behaviors. Interface with programmers to craft the gameplay experience and cooperate with other departments on implementation where necessary. Develop basic underlying principles of the game (game mechanics, level goals, etc.). Assist and monitor small groups of team members as necessary. Requirements: 7+ years of experience as a Game Designer, preferably with 1st person or 3rd person action titles. Can demonstrate major features or content sections of the titles that you led. Demonstrated team leading and team management skills such as leading a project with tight deadlines. Contributed significantly to the design of at least 2 shipped AAA titles. Ability to quickly and sufficiently document and communicate ideas in writing and speech. Supervise all game design-related documentation. Technical understanding of the way the existing gameplay systems and mechanics work and interact with each other. Calibrate or check systems for digital exposure (computer-to-file-CTF) or direct exposure of printing plates (computer-to-plate CTP)
Check if final products meet initial project standards/adjust (graphical layout/user friendliness/navigation...)
Design graphical elements (volume, objects, characters...), determine textures, colours, screen settings, brightness...
Develop creative concepts (visual, audio, written...) based on media (printed, multimedia, ad, radio, TV, poster, game...)
Elaborate design, user friendliness and navigation of cd-rom (video games...)
