Our production team is growing, and we are looking to hire a Process Technician.The Process Technician plays a crucial role in the transformation of raw milk into various dairy products. This role involves operating equipment, monitoring production processes, and ensuring quality and food safety. The Process Technician contributes to the efficient functioning of the production process while adhering to strict quality standards and safety regulations.Key duties and responsibilities of the role:
  • Operate and oversee equipment involved in the efficient processing of milk batches into various products whilst using the right recipes and following standard operating procedures.
  • Perform timely quality checks and make necessary corrections when required.
  • Raise maintenance requests and perform basic interventions.
  • Adhere to strict hygiene standards, ensuring a clean and sanitized production environment and equipment to prevent contamination and ensure food safety.
  • Manage raw material stocks by following FIFO (First In, First Out).
  • Collect data related to the process.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and best practices to create a safe work environment. Report any equipment or work practices that could danger one's health or safety.
  • Foster strong relationships and effective communication channels with cross-functional teams & departments to ensure seamless coordination and information sharing.
  • Actively participating in training sessions (receiving and delivering).
  • Perform other relevant tasks assigned by superiors as required.
Core competencies, knowledge, and experience:
  • General Education Certificate (MQF Level 3) and/or previous experience in a similar role is desirable and would be considered an asset.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment or in a food preparation establishment will be considered an asset.

  • Proficient in computer use especially Microsoft Office tools.
