- Develop recruitment strategies and create compelling job advertisements.
- Source, screen, shortlist candidates, and conduct recruitment and selection processes.
- Collaborate with recruitment partners and job portals to attract top talent.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment and the onboarding process.
- Prepare the capacity plan for the respective Company, as required.
- Support the end-to-end employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding.
- Prepare and maintain employee personnel files, contracts of employment, probation letters and work permits etc.
- Liaise with the relevant local entities, such as Jobsplus and Identita' to ensure compliance and timeliness of the required documentation.
- Provide guidance and support to employees regarding HR policies, procedures and regulations.
- Assist members of staff with training requests.
- Prepare the training needs analysis for the respective Company, as required.
- Provide the necessary information and documentation to the payroll department in a timely manner within the set timeframes.
- Provide assistance and support for enquired by employees in a timely manner.
- Carry out performance appraisals within the set timelines.
- Issue development plans as it might be required.
- Manage the daily HR Operations of the Company.
- Ensure accurate and upkeep of documentation in terms of employee records and data.
- Suggest improvements in HR processes and systems to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness.
- Assist in the implementation of strategic initiatives across the organisation, such as talent management, employee engagement and performance management.
- Coordinate and support employee engagement activities and team-building activities.
- Compile Team building activity/activities, for the respective Company for the consecutive year.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive employee development and career growth opportunities.
- Maintain HR procedures that comply with the relevant labour laws, EU directives and regulations.
- Keep abreast with changes in employment law and regulations and ensure that HR practices align with the legal requirements.
- Perform any other HR related duties, as assigned from time to time in accordance with the exigencies of the Department and/or Company.
- The ideal candidate would be in possession of a recognised HR Qualification.
- Be a people's person.
- Be meticulous and has an eye for detail.
- Have a 'can do' approach.
- Have a good command of both the English and Maltese language.
- Is well versed in the Employment Law.
