A Kitchen Hand at Streamline Solutions Ltd. is responsible for assisting with various kitchen tasks, including preparing ingredients and cleaning the kitchen area. The role requires 36 months of experience and involves basic food preparation.Experience in Mediterranean fusion cuisine is an asset. Candidates must be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Creativity, teamwork, and high culinary standards are essential. Food Preparation: Washing and cleaning fruits and vegetables. You will also be required to cook or heat up meat, fish, and vegetables. Other duties involve preparing meat and fish by cleaning, cutting, binding up, and wrapping them. The role also includes dosing and mixing ingredients , as well as preparing specific products such as sauces , desserts, and ice creams. Kitchen Maintenance: Maintaining and cleaning your work station and kitchen utensils is essential. This includes preparing the work surface and kitchen utensils and switching on appliances like ovens and hot plates. Logistics and Stock Management: You will receive and check goods. After checking, you will be responsible for storing them in a cold-storage room or pantry. The position also involves managing stock, recording shortages, and placing orders.
