This position reports to the Production Manager and will be involved in various stages of the manufacture of fiber optic gyroscopes – a state of the art sensor. Remarks: Full time on a contract basis.The operator is responsible for carrying out assigned duties within one of the sections in the Production area (winding, CP Unit, M Unit, bonding, assembly, testing) to achieve targets in terms of quantity and quality.ProfilesIf multiple Education and Language Profiles are defined, please note that you must fit at least one of them, but not necessarily all.PROFILE 1LanguageReadingSpeakingUnderstandingWritingENGLISHCompetencies

Check and adjust stability and dimensions of manufactured products (rubbing down/sanding, levelling...)
Check products (resistance, dimensions, weight...); detect deviations
Check operation of machines and equipment during production
Check safety provisions and start machines
Identify malfunctions on machines and devices. Carry out simple interventions if necessary
Perform basic maintenance of machines and equipment
