- Assess insurance and general accounting documents, leading to the monthly compilation and evaluation of Management accounts
- Manage the punctual submission of monthly accounting data from external local and international insurance managers for protected cell insurance operation
- Participate in financial reporting, contributing to the annual forecasting and budgeting procedures
- Contribute to the completion of Solvency II and other regulatory returns, as well as the finalization of annual audits
- Offer guidance and supervision to the accounting team
- Propose and implement ongoing enhancements to systems and processes for improved efficiency and quality service delivery
- Be a fully qualified accountant or in the final stages of an accounting qualification
- Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience within the finance function, insurance accounting background is an asset
- Exhibit proficiency in IT and data management
- Display flexibility and a keen awareness of deadlines
- Excellent organisational, problem solving and analytical skills
- Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and provide coaching and supervision to team members
