- Act as the product counterpart to the Africa commercial lead: clarify goals, translate to requirements, and maintain a lightweight, transparent backlog for Africa.
- Align Africa asks with Central Sportsbook strategy, architecture, and standards; identify reuse/synergies to avoid oneoffs.
- Coordinate with Compliance & Legal to confirm regulatory fit, documentation, and audit readiness.
- Facilitate delivery with Product, Tech, Trading, and Operations, ensuring clear success criteria and quality gates.
- Partner with our Retail channel to ensure the existing retail sportsbook setup runs smoothly (no disruptions), continuously optimise the experience and processes, and drive a reliable rollout/support model across shops/terminals.
- Evaluate and integrate thirdparty capabilities (F2P, pools/jackpots, data & risk tools, content) for centralized use, defining scope, feasibility, and operating model.
- Provide structured product input for Procurement/Legal during RFIs/RfTs so vendors are assessed against the right usecases, integration needs, and technical fit.
- Own integration plans end-to-end (requirements → testing → rollout) with clear ownership across teams.
- Maintain a curated catalogue of approved partners and reusable integration patterns, including compliance notes and support playbooks.
- Provide crisp product briefs and decision memos (problem, options, risks, recommendation).
- Track outcomes postlaunch (adoption, stability, regulatory outcomes) and feed learnings into the central roadmap.
- Serve as a positive influence and catalyst within the SB product platform, fostering collaboration across the organization.
- Continuously benchmark the SB product against market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory developments to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support strategic initiatives and contribute to long-term sportsbook direction.
- Proven experience as a Product Manager within the sportsbook.
- Deep understanding of African or emergingmarket betting behaviour, sports culture, and competitive landscape.
- Ability to translate commercial requirements into aligned product decisions; strong partner to the SB Manager Africa.
- Experience with thirdparty integrations and crossfunctional delivery; retail sportsbook experience is a strong plus.
- Strong collaboration skills across Tech, Trading, Commercial, Operations, Procurement, and Compliance.
- Excellent stakeholder management and structured communication.
- Understanding of regional product differentiation, third-party content feeds, and integrations.
- Familiarity with regulatory processes and working with Compliance/Legal on marketspecific nuances.
- Experience with F2P, pool betting, or multibrand sportsbook setups is highly beneficial.
- Fluency in English; French is a strong advantage, particularly for Francophone markets
- Strong grasp of industry trends and sportsbook dynamics, ensuring alignment with market needs.
