One of our clients, a Michelin Star Restaurant is looking for a Head Chef. This person will be responsible for food preparation (mis-en-place), as well as cooking and plating food during service as per menus and food preparation methods of the Restaurant.Duties & Responsibilities:▪︎ Will report to the Owner/Director▪︎ Assist in day-to-day operations of the kitchen▪︎ Work on different sections of the kitchen▪︎ Follow the in-house HACCP regulations▪︎ Be familiar with the menu and with any “specials”▪︎ Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely fashion▪︎ Be passionate for high-end cuisine▪︎ Stay up to speed with the latest cuisine trends▪︎ Must be standards driven and detail-oriented▪︎ Pay close attention to detail in food preparation▪︎ Adopt flexible working hoursRequirement:▪︎ Chef with at least 5 years in Asian cuisine▪︎ Vocational Culinary Degree a plus▪︎ Experience in Mediterranean cuisine▪︎ Knowledge of à la carte menuIMMEDIATE PLACEMENTS for candidates with fluent English, meeting all the above requirements.
