This is an exciting opportunity to step into a pivotal finance role within a well-established and expanding group operating across the scaffolding, construction, and industrial services sectors in Malta and internationally. Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and strong financial controls.
Manage client accounts, including invoicing processes and the supervision of receivables and collections
Prepare management accounts, financial reports, and detailed reconciliations to support business decisions
Handle statutory obligations, including VAT submissions and other regulatory filings
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
Ensure full compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, and internal policies
Act as a key point of contact for external auditors, coordinating annual audits and preparing supporting documentation
Contribute to improving financial processes and strengthening internal controls as the business scales

Requirements

2-3 years' hands-on experience in an accounting role (experience within construction or industrial services is an asset)
Practical experience using SFM accounting software
Fluency in both Maltese and English
Strong analytical skills with a sharp eye for detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet tight deadlines
Confidence to oversee financial operations and take ownership of outcomes

Education and Experience

A degree in Accountancy or an ACCA qualification
