The FinTech Supervision function is responsible for the authorisation and supervision of entities operating under the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) and the Financial Institutions Act. The function also acts as the Authority's centre of expertise on digital finance and FinTech-related supervisory and policy matters. The function also works closely with internal stakeholders, national competent authorities, and European institutions to ensure consistent, effective, and forward-looking supervision in a rapidly evolving digital finance environment.About the Role We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Pre- Gradute Officer to support the Fintech Supervision Function. Within this role you will carry out the following duties:
Assist the Fintech team with keeping updated records.
Assist the Fintech team with the maintenance of digital documentation received and storing such records according to the appropriate structures and naming conventions
Provide support in activities related to the processes undertaken by the Fintech team as directed.
Communication with internal and external stakeholders as may be requested.
Undertake additional tasks as necessary depending on operational exigencies.
Conduct various work in dynamic environments and multiple concurrent projects within the function.
About You Interested candidates should be currently reading for, or in the process of obtaining a qualification at National Qualification Framework Level 6 or better, duly certified by the Malta Qualifications Recognition Information Centre (MQRIC) or a widely recognised professional qualification at a comparable level in Financial Servicies, Law, Banking & Finance or any other related area.The ideal applicant should demonstrate the following skills/experience:
