This pivotal role involves strategically planning and executing comprehensive risk management for a leading Sportsbook managed service.Responsibilities:
- Formulate and implement robust risk management processes in line with industry best practices.
- Utilize advanced metrics and cutting-edge reporting tools to analyze betting behaviors strategically.
- Execute quantitative and qualitative risk management decisions to maximize revenues in Online and Retail sports betting.
- Adhere to procedural guidelines, ensuring precision in high-risk bet acceptance decisions.
- Spearhead initiatives enhancing the efficacy of tools, processes, and guidelines.
- Champion best practices in automation and innovation in Sportsbook risk management.
- Collaborate on a risk matrix with partners for transparent risk communication.
- Develop and maintain a reporting suite with BI Teams for actionable insights.
- Implement statistical data analyses for informed strategic decision-making.
- Deep knowledge of Sportsbook Trading.
- Previous Experience with industry feed providers like Betradar, Playtech, or similar.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills tailored to diverse audiences.
- Commercial awareness and understanding of variables impacting Sportsbook profitability.
- Experience with risk management tools and high exposure to numbers.
- Familiarity with "expected margin analysis" and "binomial distribution."
- Analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
- Previous experience in Trading or Risk within online gaming.
