An opportunity has opened for an experienced banking professional to step into a Banking Operations Supervisor role within a well-established corporate services environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, structure, and leadership and who wants to play a central role in managing client banking relationships and operational workflows.In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day banking operations function, supervise the Banking Officer, and ensure that client banking matters are handled efficiently, accurately, and in line with regulatory expectations. You will act as a key escalation point for complex onboarding cases while maintaining strong relationships with local and international banks, financial institutions, and internal stakeholders.What makes this role attractive is the blend of leadership responsibility and hands-on operational involvement. You will contribute to improving processes, supporting structured finance projects, and ensuring alignment between banking, corporate, and accounting workflows all within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment that values initiative and professional growth.Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and review banking operations activities to ensure quality and timely execution
  • Oversee client bank account opening processes from initiation through approval
  • Review due diligence documentation and act as an escalation point for complex cases
Your Profile
  • Strong understanding of KYC, due diligence, and client onboarding processes
  • Working knowledge of Maltese corporate law and statutory requirements
  • Leadership or mentoring experience is considered an asset
