Our client is seeking a motivated Electrical or Mechanical Engineer to join their team, working primarily on construction and civil engineering projects in Gozo. This role involves a mix of on-site and office-based responsibilities, supporting project execution, compliance, and technical operations.Key Responsibilities:

Interpret technical drawings and communicate details clearly to site workers
Monitor and ensure site works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings and specifications
Prepare contractor's drawings and as-built documentation
Compile traffic management plans and method statements
Develop and maintain project programmes, including Gantt charts
Ensure compliance with project instructions, timelines, and quality standards
Measure on-site works for quantity surveying purposes
Prepare bills of quantities for completed works
Support general project coordination and documentation tasks
Assist in the repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of plant, equipment, and machinery owned by the company
Provide technical support to ensure operational efficiency of machinery and equipment

Requirements:

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
Previous experience within construction and/or civil engineering projects is preferred
Strong understanding of technical drawings and site operations
Good organisational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Willingness to work primarily on-site, with some office-based duties
Flexibility to work overtime when required
