This individual shall form part of a versatile team delivering a wide range of cyber security services to local and international clients. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to progress in his or her career in the Information Security and the Cyber Security domains within a professional and dynamic environment.Your MissionAs a professional at PwC, you’ll work as part of a team with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients strengthen and manage cybersecurity defences (people; technology and processes); assess practices; find solutions to complex issues and formulate strategy and plan implementations.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Evaluating, designing, and implementing security-related technologies, products, and services.Taking a leading role in client-facing implementation projects and being responsible for the end-to-end delivery.Collaborating with other IT and security engineers to build robust solutions and secure environments for clients.Developing our service offering by building relationships with vendors and technology providers.Preparing various deliverables in line to client expectations.Contributing to the development of your own and team’s technical and business acumen.Assisting in business development and generating new opportunities.Keeping up to date with local and national business and economic issues.Ensuring you are adhering to internal compliance matters.Working on developing internal relationships and your PwC brand.Suitable candidates should be in possession of a first degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Networking, Information Security or other similar IT and Security fields. Candidates are expected to aspire to obtain industry certifications, such as Security+, CISSP, CCSP, as well vendor-specific certifications, if not already obtained.About YouThe ideal candidate would:Have around 5 years of experience in IT and/or cyber security, with at least 3 years of hands-on exposure to security-related technologies.Demonstrate proficiency in security architecture and engineering for both on-premises and cloud-based environments, security management best practices, as well as security operations and related processes.Be competent in security operations activities (such as logging and monitoring, incident response, security hardening, etc.), and technologies (WAF, SIEM/SOAR, EDR, NDR, XDR, Threat Intelligence, etc.).Be confident in utilizing automation tools and scripting languages such as PowerShell, with a willingness to expand technical expertise through training on tools, methods, and technologies.Enjoy collaborating with diverse teams, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills, and contributing positively to team dynamics.Have strong presentation and report writing skills.Demonstrate strong time management skills, adaptability to shifting priorities, and a commitment to meeting client needs.Value and practise high standards of ethical behaviour and professionalism.Preference will be given to candidates who already have certifications from industry leaders such as Microsoft, AWS, Palo Alto, Tenable, etc.PwC offers an environment that allows our people to progress on their own merits.
