We are looking for a motivated Commis Chef to join our talented kitchen team. Position is on a full time contract basis.Our ideal candidate is a professional who is willing to participate in creating delicious seasonal menus and meal designs. Key Responsibilities :- - Supporting the Demi Chef de Partie and the Chef de partie. - Monitors Kitchen Equipment and reports issues to superiors. - Continually develops culinary knowledge to produce high quality meals. - Measures, mixes and prepares meal ingredients, sauces and seasonings. - Washes, chops and cut fruit, meat and vegetable items. - Assesses inventory and requests resupply when necessary. - Plates meal items under the Chef de Partie Supervision. - Disposes of spoiled items and adheres to sanitation policies. - Handle ad hoc tasks as needed to support the team and department.ProfilesIf multiple Education and Language Profiles are defined, please note that you must fit at least one of them, but not necessarily all.PROFILE 1LanguageReadingSpeakingUnderstandingWritingENGLISHISCED Level: Post-secondary non-tertiary education - Level (4)Subjects:Subject Level Grade
