Remuneration: Salary + BenefitsThe ideal candidate will lead a dynamic team managing the Groups regulated entities, serving a diverse international and private clientele. This role is perfect for an experienced professional ready for their next big challengeMain duties:
  • Ensure adherence to Maltese laws, specifically CSP and Trust regulations, while supporting Group-wide regulatory functions
  • Develop and update internal policies to align with evolving regulatory requirements and industry best practices
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and monitor activities, delivering quarterly compliance reports to the Board
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Maltese authorities, managing all communications and data requests
  • Lead internal audits and investigations, coordinating with external auditors or regulators as needed
  • Collaborate across departments to develop strategies that minimize non-compliance risks
  • Identify and implement enhancements to streamline the compliance program
  • Educate staff on compliance obligations and provide expert guidance on complex ethical and legal boundaries
  • Promote a culture of integrity and conduct performance evaluations to mentor and develop the compliance team
What skills do you need?
  • Deep understanding of the Maltese regulatory framework, including Corporate, Trust, and CSP standards
  • Expertise in AML/CFT practices and comprehensive Due Diligence functions
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to exercise independent judgment and solve complex problems
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict regulatory deadlines
  • A forward-thinking approach with a knack for "outside the box" problem-solving
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all deliverables
  • Exceptional written and verbal English skills, with strong presentation capabilities
  • Experience in team management; ability to work autonomously or as a cohesive team member
