The Michele Peresso Group operates in the retail sector through its subsidiaries, Euro Sport Ltd., Europharma Ltd., and Michele Peresso Fashion Ltd. The Group is currently seeking to recruit a full-time Group Stock Controller.The Group Stock Controller will hold overall responsibility for stock governance and control across all companies within the Group. This is a senior operational role requiring strong analytical capability, sound judgement, and the ability to work across multiple functions to ensure stock accuracy, integrity, and compliance with Group policies.The role will act as the Group’s central point of accountability for stock-related controls, reporting, and discrepancy resolution, while driving continuous improvement in stock management practices across warehouses and retail locations.Key Responsibilities:The Group Stock Controller will be responsible for:
  • Full oversight of stock control activities across all Group companies.
  • Developing, maintaining, and enforcing Group-wide stock control policies and procedures, and ensuring consistent adherence by all relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensuring physical stock levels are accurately reconciled with system records and investigating variances to resolution.
  • Planning, coordinating, and overseeing general and perpetual stock takes across the Group.
  • Conducting regular onsite visits, audits, and spot checks at warehouses and retail outlets.
  • Preparing and presenting detailed reports on stock movements, variances, and performance indicators to management.
  • Leading the investigation of stock discrepancies, identifying root causes, and driving corrective actions through to closure.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for stock-related matters, including collaboration with finance and external auditors where required.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve stock accuracy, controls, and processes across the Group.
The successful candidate will be a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional, capable of understanding stock flows and driving performance across multiple entities. Key requirements include:
  • Proven experience in inventory or stock control, ideally within a retail, pharmaceutical or multi-site environment.
  • Strong analytical and numeracy skills, with the ability to interpret inventory data, identify trends, and support informed decision-making.
  • Advanced computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel and inventory reporting.
  • Familiarity with stock control systems and/or ERP systems.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities across the Group.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A minimum of 3–5 years’ relevant experience in stock or inventory control, preferably in a retail or pharmaceutical environment.
