We are looking to recruit a Kitchen Porter. Will be responsible for assisting other kitchen staff.Their primary duties include: Cleaning the kitchen, equipment and organising food and other items in the stockroom. Cleaning and sterilising countertops, kitchen walls, stoves, ovens, grills and sinks. Cleaning the entire kitchen once it is closed to ensure it is ready for the next day. Receiving deliveries and organising them in the kitchen. Washing dirty dishes like cutlery, pots, cutting boards and pans or loading dishes into the dishwasher. Removing kitchen waste from waste containers and disposing of them properly. Wash and clean fruit and vegetables
Maintain and clean work station and kitchen utensils
Package and label preparations and products (production and use-by dates). Store them in cold store, pantry...
Prepare work surface and kitchen utensils. Switch on appliances (ovens, hot-plates...)
Prepare meat and fish (clean, cut, bind up, wrap...)
Manage stock; record shortages; place orders
Assist staff of industrial kitchen (reception, heating plates, washing linen...)
