Reporting directly to our Lead Software Developer, the Junior Software Developer will be an integral member of the IT ERP & Data team, gaining hands-on experience working on business-critical applications, developing solutions, and supporting systems that drive efficiency across the organisation.Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and develop effective software solutions
  • Maintain and administer existing systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Design, develop, and implement applications following best practices
  • Test software programs, identify defects, and ensure compliance with specifications
  • Support and guide users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Develop and manage system integrations between new and existing platforms
  • Deliver training sessions to business users to enhance system usage and efficiency
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation and procedures
  • Manage assigned projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery
  • Assist with daily IT operations to maintain system stability and performance
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Diploma in IT, Computer Studies, or an equivalent qualification
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies
  • Familiarity with technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server, Power BI, IIS, and PHP
  • Experience in both front-end (UI) and back-end development
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive, motivated, and a strong team player
  • Comfortable working in multi-site environments
  • Willingness to be on-call and travel to off-site locations
Experience:
  • Minimum of one year experience in a similar technical or software development role
