Job Summary: We seek an organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead and oversee our housekeeping team in maintaining cleanliness, order, and a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to ensure a high standard of cleanliness throughout the property.Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage housekeeping staff, ensuring all duties are completed promptly and efficiently.
  • Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and other facilities to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met.
  • Train, mentor, and develop housekeeping staff to perform tasks effectively and professionally.
  • Assign daily tasks to housekeeping staff, ensuring proper delegation of duties.
  • Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment inventory and order replacements as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Handle guest requests, complaints, and concerns regarding cleanliness, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and ensure that housekeeping equipment is maintained and in good working condition.
  • Assist with creating and implementing housekeeping schedules to ensure coverage during busy periods.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Front Desk, Maintenance) to ensure seamless operations.
  • Report maintenance issues and work with the maintenance team to address any deficiencies in the property.
  • Perform occasional deep cleaning tasks and assist with special projects as needed.
  • Perform cleaning duties in guest rooms, public areas, and other spaces when necessary.
  • Ensure the proper use and care of housekeeping equipment, supplies, and cleaning agents.
  • Address urgent cleaning or maintenance requests, such as spills, stains, or repairs, promptly and effectively.
Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional certifications in hospitality or housekeeping are preferred.
  • Proven experience in housekeeping or hospitality, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and techniques.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with staff and guests.
  • Ability to work independently and handle stressful situations.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings when required.
