- Supervise and manage housekeeping staff, ensuring all duties are completed promptly and efficiently.
- Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and other facilities to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met.
- Train, mentor, and develop housekeeping staff to perform tasks effectively and professionally.
- Assign daily tasks to housekeeping staff, ensuring proper delegation of duties.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment inventory and order replacements as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Handle guest requests, complaints, and concerns regarding cleanliness, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and ensure that housekeeping equipment is maintained and in good working condition.
- Assist with creating and implementing housekeeping schedules to ensure coverage during busy periods.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Front Desk, Maintenance) to ensure seamless operations.
- Report maintenance issues and work with the maintenance team to address any deficiencies in the property.
- Perform occasional deep cleaning tasks and assist with special projects as needed.
- Perform cleaning duties in guest rooms, public areas, and other spaces when necessary.
- Ensure the proper use and care of housekeeping equipment, supplies, and cleaning agents.
- Address urgent cleaning or maintenance requests, such as spills, stains, or repairs, promptly and effectively.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional certifications in hospitality or housekeeping are preferred.
- Proven experience in housekeeping or hospitality, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and techniques.
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with staff and guests.
- Ability to work independently and handle stressful situations.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings when required.
