The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the company's entire logistics process.What You’ll Do Order and Procurement Management: You'll receive and validate purchase requests, place and track orders, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries. Inventory and Quality Control: You'll oversee the receiving of goods, perform quality checks, and manage inventory to prevent loss or damage. This includes conducting monthly stock takes and ensuring proper storage. Delivery Coordination: You'll schedule and oversee the delivery of products to our customers, optimizing timelines and costs while keeping all stakeholders informed with timely updates. Process Improvement: You'll work closely with the Chief Operating Officer to continuously improve our logistics processes, making them more efficient and cost-effective. Documentation and Reporting: You'll maintain detailed records of all logistics activities and generate reports on stock levels and order fulfillment. What you will need Education and Experience: Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a logistics, supply chain, operations or a similar role is a must. A valid Maltese driving license is a must. A professional qualification (such as a degree, diploma or Certification ) in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field will be an added advantage. Technical Skills: Proficiency in using logistics software and inventory management systems. Strong computer skills, including expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting. Experience with tracking shipments, managing purchase orders, and maintaining detailed records. Soft Skills and Competencies: Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with suppliers, customers, internal teams, and management. Organization and Attention to Detail: The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously, with a meticulous eye for detail to ensure accuracy in orders, inventory, and documentation. Problem-Solving: A proactive and solution-oriented mindset to address logistical challenges, delays, or discrepancies quickly and effectively. Teamwork: A collaborative attitude and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.ProfilesISCED Level: Upper secondary education - Level (3)Competencies
  • Coordinate and supervise logistics operations of receipt, dispatch and delivery
  • Coordinate department activities and support human resources (personnel management).
  • Explaining activity (giving instructions, demonstrating, ...). Coordinating interaction within the group.
  • Check actions performed; make recommendations
  • Coordinate department activities. Analyse monitoring instruments and make suggestions for improvement
  • Coordinate and organise flows of information for functioning of department or organisation (directives, meetings...)
  • Follow-up and analyse data of department's or organisation's activities. Propose strategy for progress
