- Actively leading the preparation of the yearly budget and regular forecasts together with other department managers and the CFO.
- Preparing of cash flows, VAT returns, and financial information relative to upcoming and existing projects or business opportunities.
- Acting as the first line of contact of the external auditors to ensure a prompt and accurate preparation of the statutory audit.
- Ensuring the timely monitoring of debtors, credit control and effective reporting to the Group CFO and senior management as required.
- Support the accounts staff with daily monitoring of cash settlements and accounts receivables
- Motivate and lead the members of the finance team on a daily basis.
- Proven work experience in a similar position
- Solid knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities
