Job Description:We’re seeking skilled and passionate Traditional Barbers to join our team, preserving the timeless art of classic grooming. As a barber, you will deliver exceptional service while upholding the charm and heritage of an old-school barbershop.As a barber, you will play a vital role in creating an exceptional customer experience by fostering a welcoming and relaxed environment where clients feel at home. You will actively recommend and promote products and services to enhance their grooming journey, ensuring every visit is memorable. Professional phone skills are essential, as you will efficiently and courteously handle appointment bookings and inquiries. Maintaining impeccable personal hygiene and upholding the barbershop’s cleanliness and organization are key responsibilities. Additionally, you will contribute to a lively and friendly atmosphere, embodying team spirit and helping to create a vibrant community within the shop.Key Responsibilities:

Classic Haircuts: Provide traditional men’s haircuts, tailored to each client’s style and preferences
Straight Razor Shaves: Masterfully perform hot towel and straight razor shaves for a clean, smooth finish
Beard Grooming: Offer expert beard trims and shaping to help clients maintain a polished appearance
Customer Experience: Create a welcoming, relaxed environment where clients feel at home
Attention to Detail: Maintain precision and care in every service, ensuring client satisfaction
Shop Etiquette: Embrace the traditions of an old-school barbershop, including friendly conversations and fostering a sense of community
Shop Hygiene: Maintain personal hygiene and ensure the barbershop is clean, organized, and sanitary at all times
Sanitation: Keep all tools and workspaces clean, adhering to hygiene standards
Cross-Selling: Recommend and promote products and services to enhance the client’s grooming experience
Phone Skills: Handle appointment bookings and inquiries professionally and efficiently
Team Spirit: Contribute to a lively and friendly barbershop atmosphere.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a barber, with a focus on traditional techniques
Expertise in straight razor shaves, beard grooming, and classic styles
Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour
Passion for the craft and dedication to delivering top-tier service
Ability to work in a team and contribute to a lively barbershop atmosphere
Barista skills are a plus, adding to the unique barbershop experience.
