We’re looking for a commercially minded Business Development Executive who is comfortable operating between sales and solution design.This role sits within the Business Development team but works closely with technology, AI and delivery teams to shape proposals, define scopes and support the commercial side of complex projects.This is not a pure sales role. It’s a mix between sales, solution consulting and business analysis.The ideal candidate is someone who:
- Understands how technology projects work
- Can break down client problems
- Is comfortable discussing AI, automation, integrations and digital platforms
- Can build structured proposals and pricing models
- Identify and develop opportunities for technology, AI and digital transformation projects
- Qualify inbound leads and outbound opportunities
- Lead discovery conversations to understand client challenges and objectives
- Build strong relationships with prospective clients and partners
- Translate client needs into clear technical scopes and project outlines
- Work with the internal tech and delivery teams to shape practical solutions
- Break down complex requirements into structured deliverables
- Prepare proposals, statements of work and pricing models
- Help define project timelines, resourcing and cost structures
- Ensure proposals are commercially viable and aligned with client expectations
- Support the handover from sales to delivery
- Contribute insights to improve our BD process and service offerings
- 2–5 years of experience in business development, consulting, tech sales or digital project scoping
- Experience working with technology, software, AI, automation or digital products
- Strong understanding of how digital/tech projects are structured
- Experience working with HubSpot is beneficial
- Strong commercial thinking
- Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into business language
- Comfortable preparing structured proposals and pricing
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Curious about AI, automation and emerging technology
- Comfortable navigating complex or ambiguous problems
- Able to operate in a fast-moving agency environment
- Based in Malta (this role requires regular collaboration with the team and clients)
- Fluent in English
- Comfortable working with clients across Europe and the Middle East
