Someone to assist and support on various matters to the highest standard, but most importantly; an excellent team player and communicator, eager to grow your skills and develop alongside inspiring and talented colleagues from all over the world.As a Junior Accountant You Will:Approve and post supplier invoices whilst ensuring that they are accurately assigned the correct ledger account and reporting dimensions in line with the applicable accounting requirements and that the invoices' authorisation procedure is duly followed.Assist with identifying, planning and implementing key projects to improve quality, reduce costs, increase productivity and improve cycle time by reducing wasted time, rework, etc.Maintain the financial and general ledgers of all group entities, including the preparation and posting of journal entries and accounts analysis, and ensure that all business transactions are recorded.Assist in the day-to-day accounting tasks and support the accountancy manager and other accounting staff with any other assignments as instructed by management from time to time.Actively participate in the month-end process making sure that all the required tasks are collectively delivered by the stipulated deadline.Establish strong communication with internal departments to ensure that the information required for accountancy purposes is correctly recorded and maintained up to date.Perform period-end reconciliations of various accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and income statement checks for all group entities.Assist in the preparation and timely submission of VAT returns and other compliance returns to multiple authorities on an ongoing basis.Assist the team with the statutory audit, preparation of financial statements and liaise with external auditors as necessary.Requirements:Early stages of ACCA or equivalentKnowledge of formulas used within Microsoft excelBe highly organised, proactive, and able to work on your own initiativeThe PerksBeing a part of the Casumo group provides an unparalleled experience.
