Cafe' Cuba restaurants, located in Shoreline, Kalkara and and Spinola Bay, St. Julian's are currently seeking enthusiastic waiters to join their dynamic front-of-house teams on a full-time and part-time basis.Famous for its Latin-American flair, lively atmosphere, and stunning bay views, Cafe’ Cuba blends Cuban-inspired décor with international cuisine and a laid-back yet vibrant energy. The waiter will play a key role in ensuring that every guest enjoys an exceptional visit. The responsibilities will include welcoming guests with a warm and professional attitude, presenting menus and explaining dishes confidently, taking and processing food and drink orders, and serving them promptly and accurately. Cooperation with kitchen and bar staff will be essential to ensure smooth and efficient service. Applicants must have a positive attitude and a strong desire to provide excellent customer service. Previous experience in a busy restaurant setting is preferred, and training from the Institute of Tourism Studies or a similar hospitality school will be considered an asset. Good communication skills in English are important, and knowledge of additional languages is always welcome. For non-EU nationals, a valid work permit for Malta is required. Clean tables/bar/counter. Clean and maintain bar and serving room utensils
Clean tables. Clean restaurant area
Do the mise en place in the restaurant area and utility room. Preparing tables for service
Wash/rinse glasses
Offer wine list, advise customers and take orders
Provide waitering service in dining room/bar for breakfast or dinner, or during the day
