Accounts AssistantPush Gaming is a dynamic and innovative game development studio specialising in creating top-quality, mobile-optimised online casino games. With a passion for gaming and a commitment to pushing boundaries, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences to players worldwide.We are currently looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our Finance Team. This is an important position for Push Gaming and will involve assisting our Finance team in managing and overseeing the day-to-day accounting of the business.Location: Ta' Xbiex, MaltaSalary: Negotiable, depending on experience.What you’ll be doing:
  • Accounts Payable function – management of vendors and AP across multiple entities, including:
Processing supplier invoicesComplying with the company purchase order policyLiaising with management for invoice approvalsManaging supplier payments in line with company policyDealing with supplier queriesPayments and reconciliations * Accounts Receivable function, including:Managing accounts from the debtors ledgerIssuing statements of accountsDealing with customers queriesReporting to the Finance Director on customer agingPreparation of bank reconciliation, identify discrepancies, and investigate discrepancies.Preparation of month end reconciliations and reportingAssist in the preparation of VAT returns.Processing employee expensesAssisting with the financial month-end and year-end processesAssisting in the preparation of the actuals vs budget analysisAssisting with the year-end audit and related queriesAssisting with the implementation and maintenance of appropriate systems and internal controlsAssisting with the preparation of budgets and cash flow forecastsOther ongoing ad-hoc projects and tasks as they ariseAssisting with the Financial AuditWhat you'll bring to the role:Partly or fully qualified ACCA or CIMAAbility to present financial information in a clear and structured formatAbility to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretionAbility to work on own initiative and with minimum supervisionHighly organised with attention to detail2+ years experience in a similar roleSelf-motivated and self-driven, and a self-starter looking to add real value to the roleExcellent communication skills, with fluency in written and spoken English essentialExperience in NetSuite and Microsoft Excel is beneficialMembership of the Malta Institute of Accountants is beneficialInterest or experience in iGaming industry is beneficialWhy join us?It’s a really exciting time to join Push Gaming.
