A strong focus on collaboration with UI/UX Designers is essential to enhance user experience and optimize platform usability. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, a structured approach, and a commitment to quality, while also providing mentorship and guidance to team members.Duties & Responsibilities:Liaise with Developers and Product Managers to understand requirements and propose solutions that meet such requirementsDefine requirements for credit assessment, eligibility criteria, affordability checks, and fraud prevention mechanisms within a credit platformCollaborate with Risk Analysts to translate risk policies into system configurations and business rulesDefine clear specifications and business requirements for solutions being developed or updatedDevelop detailed use cases, user flows, wireframes (if applicable, or collaborate with UX/UI designers), and process diagrams to illustrate product functionality.Document functional specifications including data flows, data mapping and detailed Use/Test CasesDevelop detailed use cases, user flows, wireframes (if applicable, or collaborate with UX/UI designers), and process diagrams to illustrate product functionalityMaintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation of product features, business rules, and technical specificationsAssess impact, assist in prioritization and provide high level estimates for project pipelineBreakdown EPICs into user stories based on feedback from Product Managers and Dev teamDefine Business Acceptance criteria for storiesEngage with Dev teams, to assist with breaking down user stories into tasksPerform UAT to verify that the solution is in line with the requirementsProvide initial support of new deploymentsPerform data verification analysis post deploymentExperience & Education Requirements3–5 years of experience in a fintech, digital lending, or financial services environment with a focus on credit or payments.Strong analytical skills and proficiency in relational databasesIn-depth knowledge of requirements for loan structuring, interest calculations, fees, repayment schedules, collections strategies, arrears management, and debt recovery processesHave experience with various credit risk models, policies, and decision engines to understand their impact on product designSolid understanding of payment processing flows, payment gateways, and reconciliation in a financial services contextA degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related fieldA good understanding of information technology with a strong technical backgroundSkills RequirementsExcellent communication skills, with the ability to talk to and present to a range of audiences, sometimes acting as a translator between parties.Ability to work on multiple projects within respective project time framesA passion for creating solutions with a positive attitude to changeExcellent analytical skills and an informed, evidence-based approachA strong interest in business and business developmentRemunerationWe are committed to attracting and selecting top people to join our team.
