- The Assistant Electrician supports the electrician in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on site.
- He assists in the preparation and installation of wiring, cables, and electrical components according to instructions and technical drawings.
- He ensures that tools and materials are prepared and available for the electrician during works.
- He assists in testing electrical systems under supervision to ensure proper functioning.
- He ensures that all work is carried out in line with health and safety regulations.
- He ensures that protective equipment such as gloves, safety boots, and helmets are worn at all times when on site.
- He assists in maintaining a clean and organised work environment, free from hazards.
- He follows instructions given by the electrician or supervisor and supports the team in completing tasks efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems will be considered an asset.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail and a responsible attitude.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices in construction.
