- Ensure perpetual compliance to Bank of England audit standards and platemaking procedures.
- Producing digital plates and/or nickel plates upon request and to the specifications required of both internal and external DLR customers.
- Perform quality assurance analysis within laboratory facilities to support scientific investigations and controls for all critical platemaking variables.
- Sustain a 5S organizational and housekeeping methodology to enable optimum operational efficiency.
- Follow rigorously taught procedures in platemaking, including those regarding safety, environment, and security.
- Participate in problem solving and root cause analysis activities.
- Participate in TPM activities to maintain area and machine upkeep.
- Maintain and regularly update documentation to sustain records of standard procedures and charts for analysis of test results.
- O level standard of education or equivalent.
- Microsoft ECDL
- Read/Write technical standard operating procedures and risk assessments
- Use of SPC tools and control plans
- Has an eye for detail and able to carry out problem solving on their own
- Quality awareness
- HSE and Security acumen
- Need to be able to manually lift 25kg load where necessary and according to HSE best practice
- Timekeeping and attendance discipline
- Ability to communicate well
- Positive attitude with a desire to develop
- Continuous Improvement drive
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Ability to live by the DLR values as routine.
