We are working with an international group of companies who have their headquarters here in Malta. They are looking for an Accountant to join their Malta Finance Team. Here you will take care of the local coThe role is open to someone who is fully qualified, but the company are also considering someone more junior still in their studies, who is ambitious and wishes to grow. Here you will work hand in hand with the Finance Manager and CFO, taking care of the local company from processing invoices up to management accounts.The salary bracket would depend on studies and experience.What you'll be doing:

Preparation of management accounts for the company and its related entities;
Supporting the CFO in the preparation of consolidated financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and other ad hoc reports;
Preparing cash flow information to support effective financial management;
Assisting the CFO with due diligence processes, mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions;
Coordinating with the company's auditors in the execution of group audits;
Acting as a point of contact with banks and other financial institutions;
Monitoring and controlling administrative expenses and processing supplier payments.

Requirements

Local work experience up to the preparation of management accounts
Excellent spoken and written English
Audit experience is a plus

Education and Experience

A qualified accountant, or in the process of obtaining their ACCA Qualification
