Ballinger Group is a leading provider of FX Treasury services, specializing in assisting clients with the mitigation of currency risk through tailored solutions. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our Risk Management Team in Malta as a Risk Analyst.Key Responsibilities:- Assess and analyse credit risk associated with clients seeking FX Treasury services.- Evaluate financial statements and other relevant information to determine creditworthiness.- Prepare comprehensive credit risk reports, outlining key findings and recommendations.- Provide recommendations on whether to grant credit facilities to clients.- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information for informed decision-making.- ERM Policy and Procedure Development and Review.- Assist in meeting DORA requirements throughout 2024 to ensure compliance with regulations.- ERM Risk assessment, involving the analysis, identification, description, and measurement of risks affecting our entity, documented in a risk register.- Conduct regular risk and control self-assessment exercises with risk owners and control owners.- Recommend and set internal risk controls for day-to-day business management.- Risk reporting, including risk metrics, Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), dashboards, and emerging risks.- Work closely with the Risk Manager and other team members to support various risk management initiatives.- Assist with maintaining and improving our Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) solution.RequirementsThe Ideal Candidate:- Fluent in English.- Experience working in risk management roles in the financial services industry, preferably within the investment services sector.- Possession of a recognized degree in a related field.- Ability to work in a team, as well as on own initiative.- Meticulous and organized, with great attention to detail.- Familiarity with the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA)- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of business continuity planning and disaster recovery planning, emphasizing the ability to navigate and mitigate potential risks effectively.Benefits
