Responsible for monitoring customer accounts, chasing overdue payments, reconciling statements, and maintaining accurate financial records.The Position: Vetting of files/customer profiles for hire purchase approvals and preparing documentation for bank and internal approvals; Liaising with bank and Consumer Finance Senior Executive regarding declined and dispute debtors; Liaising with sales team and administration for any documentation / feedback required; Processing and issuing of Bills of Exchange and finance agreements; Taking customer calls and assisting customers with balance and payment related queries; Processing cancellation letters for settled deals; Processing and allocating online payments; Other tasks that may be required from time to time The Requirements: Minimum of 6 months experience in a basic administration / finance role Ideally possess an O’ Level qualification in Accounting Familiar with Microsoft desktop operating systems and Microsoft Office applications Have a good command of both Maltese and English. Formulate advice or founded decision to the attention of account manager and make a summary
Assess economic, financial and juridical risks for approval of credit and check profitability for the bank
Follow-up on files of clients in debt and suggest corrective measures (budget plan, protective measures)
Check credit request handling (prudential standards, legal obligations...) and take corrective action; repeat process
Give advice or make a decision upon request for: Consumer credit
