Our client are looking for an Engineering Manager to provide strategic leadership and technical direction across all engineering and workshop operations, ensuring that projects, maintenance, and service activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with the highest technical standards.The role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing engineering works from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with agreed schedules, budgets, and specifications. Leading and motivating multidisciplinary teams, the Engineering Manager drives strong performance, service quality, and a culture of continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include effective resource and workload planning, cost control, and the ongoing development, coaching, and performance management of engineering personnel.The role provides expert guidance on complex technical matters and takes ownership of escalated operational and service issues. It also coordinates workshop and field service activities to optimise responsiveness, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Accountability extends to departmental performance, including financial oversight and the technical and commercial review of major quotations, contracts, and service agreements. Ensuring full compliance with OEM standards, regulatory requirements, classification rules, and internal procedures is a critical aspect of the position. Strong working relationships are maintained with OEM networks, suppliers, external service partners, customers, and regulatory stakeholders.
