- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring smooth and efficient service;
- Plan and develop innovative menus that reflect the concept and meet customer expectations;
- Monitor food preparation and presentation to maintain high standards of quality and consistency;
- Control food and labour costs, manage budgets, and monitor stock levels to minimize waste;
- Train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive team environment;
- Consistently achieving monthly targets in alignment with company policies and objectives;
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations (HACCP and local legislation);
- Collaborate with restaurant management to align culinary offerings with overall business goals;
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-equipped kitchen at all times;
- Stay updated on industry trends, seasonal ingredients, and modern cooking techniques.
- Proven local experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment within an à la carte restaurant;
- Strong leadership and organizational abilities with excellent communication skills;
- Creativity, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for food and innovation;
- In-depth knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices;
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Excellent written and verbal skills in English
- Hold a certification in culinary skills;
- Possess a valid Food handler's license.
