Our client within the Financial Services is looking for a Data Protection Manager to join their teamResponsibilities:

Develop data protection policies under the head of department's guidance
Ensure company is compliant with GDPR, Data Protection Act, and relevant regulations.
Conduct regular risk assessments and internal audits.
Design and deliver data protection training programs for staff.
Report and update on breaches and incidents.
Collaborate with regulatory bodies.
Stay updated on GDPR and Data Protection Act amendments.
Manage data subject requests professionally.
Represent the entity in data protection matters locally and internationally.
Provide timely assistance and responses to data protection inquiries.

Skill-sets and Requirements

6 years of relevant experience in the role (including 2 years in a senior role)
Demonstrated knowledge and experience of data protection principles and laws
Excellent communication skills in both the Maltese & English languages
Experience in the implementation of data protection rules

Education & Experience University Degree (MQF Level 6) or equivalent in Law or ITBenefits
