Maintenance Manager

• Perform frequency-based preventive maintenance and rectify any issues found.

• Diagnose breakdown causes and repair.

• Perform equipment installations and vehicles to regulatory standards.

• Be involved in any project plans for the installation of new equipment.

• Modify and improve equipment, plant and processes.

• Calibrate instrumentation including weighing systems, flow control, level indicators.

• Contribute to the development of safe systems of work ensuring that company health and safety standards are complied with, and safe working practices are always adopted.

• Provide technical advice, training support and information to departmental managers, supervisors and staff.

• Support the HR team to identify recruitment needs and training opportunities.

• Establish goals, and procedures, and implement initiatives for overall production department success.

• Work with other departments to develop production standards.

• Prepare inventory analysis and procurements in relation to production operations.

• Train staff for the new process implemented.

• Work with technical writers to prepare client proposals.

• Other jobs as necessary and related to the said position assigned by the Management of the company.

• Must have a minimum of 2 years' relevant experience.

• Good command of Maltese and English is mandatory.

• Advanced knowledge of production processes and standards in the fields.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Provide quick responses to maintenance issues.

• Identify problems and help improve processes.
