Then show us your game face - because we're looking for a Team Lead Data Engineering (m/f/x) to join the team!Job DescriptionAs the central captain, the Team Lead Data Engineering (m/f/x) is accountable for building and operating our essential, reliable data services and platforms (Data Lake, DWH, etc.), ensuring the business has trusted data for every major play. You manage, coach, and mentor a squad of Data Engineers, driving high-quality, scalable solutions aligned with company objectives. You must closely partner with stakeholders (Product, Operations, Compliance) to ensure the data strategy effectively and securely supports us to win the match.Your playing field:

Lead, coach, and mentor our Data Engineering squad, actively fostering a dynamic, collaborative, and high-performance winning culture.
Oversee the entire data supply chain-from design to operation of mission-critical data pipelines (batch and real-time). You ensure peak scalability, blazing performance, and strict adherence to SLAs.
Act as the ultimate assurance gate, guaranteeing end-to-end data quality, accuracy, and consistency across the Data Platform to power reliable reporting, precise analytics, and meet all regulatory outputs.
Seamlessly translate complex business requirements into robust technical specifications and concrete delivery plans, partnering strategically with Product Managers, Architects, and key stakeholders.
Align all data engineering practices with group standards, relentlessly driving security, compliance, and operational excellence across every process.
Lead the charge in automation, optimisation, and innovation within data processing to continuously boost performance and maximize cost-efficiency.
Actively contribute to the Data Department's roadmap and objectives, providing leadership support for strategic initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.

QualificationsWhich skills should you bring to the pitch:

Education. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Information Technology (IT), or a closely related quantitative field.
Experience. Minimum of 5+ years of experience successfully managing and leading large-scale data projects and high-performing data engineering team(s) in a similar role.
Big Data Is Your Thing. From AWS Redshift, S3 and EMR to Airflow, Kafka, Spark, Iceberg and Hudi-designing scalable data models and pipelines that turn massive datasets into business value.
Engineering Excellence. You bring robust ETL/ELT engineering skills, hands-on experience with analytics/time-series technologies (OpenSearch/Elasticsearch), and strong coding abilities in Java, Scala or Python.
Modern Engineering Environment. You thrive in modern engineering environments-Linux, containers, Kubernetes-and know how to build cloud-first, production-ready data systems.
Trusted Partner. We need a natural team player with exceptional stakeholder management and strong negotiation skills. You must be a confident decision-maker and a rigorous problem-solver who thrives on finding the optimal path forward for the team.
