- Conduct functional, UI/UX, and performance testing for WordPress websites.
- Test website responsiveness across different devices and browsers.
- Identify bugs, layout inconsistencies, and broken elements in themes, plugins, and custom code.
- Ensure SEO best practices and Core Web Vitals are met.
- Verify website security, accessibility, and compliance with industry standards.
- Document test cases, issues, and improvements.
- Track bugs and issues using tools such as Jira, ensuring thorough reporting and follow-up.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to ensure quality throughout the development cycle.
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining high standards and test coverage.
- Experience testing WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
- Strong understanding of cross-browser and responsive testing.
- Familiarity with website performance tools.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP (a plus).
- Experience with testing tools like Lighthouse, or WP debugging tools.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.High attention to detail with the ability to spot issues of all levels, including trivial issues that most people would overlook; attention for best web practices,.
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, and Agile development processes.
- Experience writing clear and organized manual test cases and documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Comfortable working on multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
