- Supervises and assists in the preparation and production of food products according to company recipes and production plans.
- Ensures the quality, consistency and correct portioning of products produced in the assigned section.
- Supervises staff and assigns tasks to ensure production targets are met.
- Ensures ingredients are prepared, measured and handled according to food safety procedures.
- Maintains clean and sanitised workstations, equipment and production areas.
- Assists with inventory control, ingredient usage and stock rotation using FIFO.
- Checks deliveries to ensure correct temperature, labelling, dates and packaging condition.
- Ensures proper storage of raw materials and monitors fridge and freezer temperatures.
- Reports equipment faults, product issues or safety concerns to management.
