Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry is looking for a Financial Controller to play a strategic part within the company. The selected candidate will act as a financial advisor to the Directors and work on improving the processes in place.Responsbilities:

Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting aligned with strategic objectives.
Manage audits, regulatory reporting, and ensure compliance with Maltese laws and MFSA requirements.
Produce insightful financial reports to support executive decision-making.
Lead cost-control initiatives and identify opportunities for savings.
Streamline accounting processes, strengthen internal controls, and maintain clear financial policies.
Explore funding options to support growth and expansion.
Build and maintain relationships with banks, vendors, and service partners.
Advise directors on financial strategy, policies, and key business decisions.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years in a senior position. Candidates with manufacturing experience will be given preference.
Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems will be considered an asset
Solid understanding of Maltese company law, particularly in the context of compliance and listed company standards

Education and Experience

ACCA qualified ideally warranted or relevant qualifications from the University of Malta
