Your work will involve using advanced analytics, data wrangling technology, and automation tools to leverage data and focus on establishing the right processes and structures to enable our clients to make efficient and effective decisions based on accurate information that is complete and trustworthy.We are looking for a Data Analyst Associate to be part of an established team of professionals within the Data Analytics Solutions & Automation (DASA) team which forms part of the Assurance Line of Service.This role will fall within the remit of the Assurance Technology Automation function:You will work as part of a multi-functional team that supports the local onboarding and implementation of Global Assurance tools, technologies, and processes. This role will give you the opportunity to work with our territory Centre of Excellence, global product development and support teams by driving the rollout and ongoing support of global assurance applications and related services.This role will expand your network and puts you at the forefront of assisting our territory with onboarding global tools and disseminating information and knowledge to the assurance practice. The role would report to a Manager, who is an Alteryx and Business Intelligence Specialist and Assurance Partner, while also working directly with the with the DASA manager.You will play an important role in supporting audit teams with Alteryx related engagements and transforming the business. You will also be helping to drive continuous improvement of tools and processes across the implementation of global assurance applications, such as Power BI and UiPath.Your career with PwC is what you make it to be. This role will include, but is not limited to, the following:
  • Own and manage support activities, including relationship with EMEA support teams, end user and client support oversight, enhancement of support process and regular communication, escalation and feedback
  • Assist in coaching and building a robust team overlooking the area of assurance data tools
  • Understand needs and support teams in onboarding new tools
  • Help driving process improvement, including working closely with Global Data Acquisition and content groups
  • Assist the team lead in setting up support structure for new capabilities and services
  • Assist in conducting training and / or refresher sessions with territory support and other support groups
  • Support the team lead with reporting to BTS global leadership, including report preparation and KPIs monitoring
  • Overseeing the Assurance training program and its implementation/execution
The successful candidate will possess:
  • Big 4 experience (ideal)
  • Data transformation experience (preferable)
  • A University degree in Accounting, Data Science, Business Administration, Math, Finance, Statistics, or any related field
  • Alteryx Designer Core certification (preferable)
  • Excellent Excel & Google Doc, Sheets, Slides skills
  • The ability to work with more senior stakeholders
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Self starter skills and the ability to work under your own initiative
  • Able to work in a team, coach and deliver training on tools etc
  • Audit background (nice to have)
