Due to expanding their portfolio, our client a small-medium sized CSP is looking to recruit a Senior Client Accountant to join their team. If you excel in building and maintaining client relationships, this is the role for you!Responsibilities:

Managing your own portfolio of clients with professionalism and care
Preparing and reviewing management accounts, then presenting insights directly to clients
Liaising with auditors and ensuring audit readiness
Preparing budgets and forecasts, supporting clients with strategic planning
Overseeing and reviewing VAT returns and payroll computations
Analyzing financial data to produce meaningful reports for both clients and internal use
Supporting and mentoring junior team members, including reviewing their work and planning workflows
Identifying opportunities to improve internal processes and client service delivery
Advising clients on financial and operational issues with practical, proactive solutions
Staying up to date with regulatory changes to provide informed, compliant advice

Requirements

3-5 years of local experience in a similar role
Solid understanding of Maltese accounting standards, VAT, and tax regulations
Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple client needs
A Maltese driver's license is considered a plus

Education and Experience

In advanced stages of ACCA or equivalent
