We are looking for a skilled Heavy Equipment & Plant Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety, ensuring the efficient operation of heavy machinery and plant equipment on-site.- Operate heavy machinery, including excavators, bulldozers, and cranes, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure functionality and safety compliance.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate work activities and meet project deadlines.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Document daily operations and report any issues or incidents to management promptly.- Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator or similar role.
- Valid operator’s licence and relevant certifications for heavy machinery.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations in construction and plant operations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Physical stamina and strength to operate heavy machinery for extended periods.
