Job Overview:We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Executive who is fluent in Maltese and English to join our team. This role involves supporting day-to-day HR operations with a particular focus on managing work permits, licenses, and regulatory documentation for employees. The ideal candidate will be organized, efficient, and comfortable communicating with government agencies and stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Handle applications and renewals of employment licenses, work permits, and related documentation for local and foreign employees.Liaise with government entities such as Jobsplus, Identita, and other regulatory bodies.Maintain accurate records of permit statuses and ensure timely renewals to avoid compliance issues.Support general HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records, and contract administration.Draft and issue employment-related documents such as employment contracts, engagement letters, and reference letters.Assist in employee relations matters and ensure HR practices comply with Maltese employment law.Coordinate with other departments to ensure staffing needs and legal requirements are met.Assist in HR reporting and maintain confidential personnel files.Welcome and guide new employees through administrative processes related to residence and employment documentation.Requirements:Proven experience in an HR or administrative role (1–3 years preferred).Fluent in Maltese and English, both written and spoken.Knowledge of Maltese employment law and work permit processes is highly desirable.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines.Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic HR software/tools.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.Preferred Qualifications:Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience in a temping, outsourcing, or recruitment company is a plus.
